The integration of ABB Industrial
Robots with the extensive range of H&C’s
product and pallet handling equipment, provide
both standard and custom designed, high
quality and high performance robotic palletising
solutions.
Single or multiple lines can
be accommodated with the single robotic
palletising solution, up to five stations
around one robot or more if the robot is
mounted on a track, thus providing a low
cost per line palletising solution.
Robotic palletising solutions are available
for cartons, trays, bags, kegs, bottles,
bricks, wheels and more. H&C produce
a wide range of grippers. The most popular
for cartons is the multi-zone vacuum gripper.
This can accommodate the widest range of
cartons sizes and most stack patterns. Grippers
can also handle pallets, slipsheets and
layer gluing if required.
H&C specialise in the
integration of systems, taking the level
of automation one step further. Human error
can be eliminated with automatic product
changeovers - when a new product is detected
at the infeed, the robot can automatically
clear the pick table, perform a pallet change,
re-configure for the new product and start
stacking.
Data for each pallet can be
tracked through the system whether it is
via conveyors, trolley cars or Automated
Guided Vehicles. This can then allow the
pallets to be stretchwrapped with differing
wrapping styles, labelled correctly and
transported to the correct storage locations.
If you produce a large number
of products, the palletising parameters
can be stored in a database located on a
PC or server. This allows you to allocate
stack patterns and a host of other detail
for different products, perform backups
and print reports.
